The 1215 combo amplifier with 1x15inch special design Celestion speaker with a high frequency horn that uses a 12 band preamp and a 500W power stage. This combo has the same speaker configuration as the 1518. This cabinet has also been tuned to 40Hz.
12 Band means more control, more sound and more power. There are six footswitchable features that include,pre-shape (for that classic Trace sound), valve (to add valve warmth or overdrive), 12 band classic Trace Elliot graphic equalizer, dual band compressor with separate controls for each hi and lo bands, sophisticated effects loop (hi-pass/lo-pass/full range outputs, left/right/mono returns, series/parallel switch, loop level control), and an output mute (mutes all outputs except tuner out). Other features included are electronically balanced XLR DI outputs for pre eq and post preamp left and right, left and right line outputs, MOSFET technology, and two valve/tube driver stages for signal pre-conditioning before the power stage.
